Students know their own cultural imprinting and their fixed action patterns resulting from it. They are familiar with the most common culture specific dimensions at work. They are aware of cultural differences and are able to act accordingly.
English 1: Advanced English Communication Skills
Cultural theory, cultural dimensions, cultural imprinting, culture specific thinking as well as schemes of behaviour and fixed action patterns resulting from it, differences in languages based on differences in culture, verbal and nonverbal communication, sensitizing students for cultural differences, understanding these differences and acting accordingly in real life situations, case studies (focus on Germany, Italy and Slovenia).
