Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

explain the functions of management, the historical development of management research, the essential relationships and interdependence of central tasks of management, methods of operational planning, methods of strategic management, concepts of assessing and illustrating social, societal and cultural phenomena that are important for management, various approaches to business ethics and specific tasks of international managements.
reflect on the usefulness of the application of management design approaches and their limits.
analyse management-related case studies.
illustrate real-life situations in the form of simple management case studies and find solutions for management problems as a team.
