On successful completion of this course students will be able to:
Interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly;
Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of immediate relevance (personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment)
Speak about personal experiences, interact in different contexts, express own ideas;
Read letters, descriptions, regulative texts;
Write simple texts
Completion of Italian 1
Working on and improving the four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing;
Basic Grammar (forming the present perfect; the reflexive; direct and indirect personal pronouns; adverbials of time; reflexive verbs; the continuous form; possessive and neutral pronouns); listening and listening comprehension based on authentic listening texts including videos of daily life in Italy; oral expression.
