The objective of the course is to ensure, that students have knowledge about fundamentals of internet, knowledge about the creation of a website and information about specific E-Commerce topics.

The content of the first part of the course is a general introduction to the area of internet (basic principles, protocols, XML, html, CSS, internet risks)
Students will develop a website using WordPress in part two of the lecture. Students will thereby also get insight in the usage of html and CSS.
Part 3 is oriented towards E-Commerce. General principles concerning E-Business, E-Procurement, E-Shop, E-Marketplace, E-Community, E-Tourism, Web 2.0, Enterprise 2.0 will be presented and discussed. Students will develop a small webshop using WooCommerce (or a similar system).
