On successful completion of this course, students:
can clearly formulate research questions and research aims
are familiar with locating and handling academic sources in the field of international business and management
understand the formal and contents standards of scientific work
can structure academic papers in international business
formulate clear and concise arguments related to a particular research question
improve their academic writing style
Students will be equipped with the skills necessary to write academic papers and theses in the field of international business and management, including:
formulating research questions and research aims
structuring an international business research paper
identifying and processing relevant literature sources
citing in accordance with citation guidelines
formal standards for research papers and theses
academic writing style
formulating a clear argument based on the research question
As part of the course, students will write international business-related micro papers on which they will receive feedback on opportunities for improving their academic writing skills.
