VL Principles of Economics I - Microeconomics

Upon completion of the course, students:

  • understand economic processes as well as central economic indicators;
  • understand the concepts of gross domestic product, unemployment, economic growth and inflation;
  • have analysed the possibilities and limitations or economic steering with the help of fiscal and monetary policies;
  • can critically analyse the advantages and disadantages of economic and political strategies
