The students will gain in-depth knowledge on how to process and evaluate (sensor) measurement data. An additional focus will be put on the expanding area of sensor networks/sensor networking, generating an inherent intelligence from the combined evaluation of a multitude of independant sensors for various parameters.
The competences will enable to students are to choose appropriate data acquisition and transmission techniques and equipment, select suitable data (pre-) processing and evaluation routines and design networked measurement systems.
