Business Process & Workflow Management
Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is a business process management software that allows an organization to use a system of integrated applications to manage the business and automate many back office functions related to technology, services and human resources. It consists of a variety of modules (i.e. Processing of Orders, Production, Delivery,...) and stores the whole enterprise data in a centralized database. This data is used interdepartmental in many different processes. The students gain an overview of the theory, the ERP vendor market and practical application potentials. They also get knowledge about some typical ERP business processes and complete an integrated fifteen unit practical SAP course.
