The students ate able to implement the planning and design of mobile communication networks.

The process during the creation of private and public landed mobile networks starting with collecting the requirements based on spatially population distribution and topographic conditions, the different phases during planning, building up and putting into operation will be shown. Students will learn to plan mobile networks by considering the fundamentals of mobile communication technologies (multiple access, GSM, UMTS, 4G), RF communication principles (e.g., wave propagation, antenna theory) and economical aspects.
