Students are able to reference correctly and quote sources. They can prepare academic texts (IMRAD), perform scientific research in the form of a literature review.

Improve and strengthen academic writing skills in order to prepare

students in the areas of scientific report writing, writing theses,

scientific papers, etc. implementing concepts such as discourse

analysis, IMRAD format, IEEE reference style and plagiarism.

Final paper should be a cross-curriculum project and written in IEEE


This is a Master's level course to prepare students for academic writing, with a primary focus on the Master's thesis. Additionally, conversational skills to prepare students for their future employment as well as "small talk" will be introduced.
