The students are able to define material-related specifics, requirements when designing, and building RC-structures. Based on the current safety concepts typical design situations are discussed. Starting with load application, structural analysis and determination of internal forces, the students design representative linear members. Special focus in design, detailing and execution is laid on the aspects of durability and sustainability.
