Students are able to reflect on special features of healthcare organizations and discuss their impact on innovation systems and processes.
They are able to identify principal elements for developing an innovation system and consequently coordinate its concepts.
They know about the general aims of innovation systems and are able to adapt them to the environment of the respective organization.
They are also able to discuss and develop innovation process models with regard to specific aims set for a specific organizational environment.

Structural, cultural, strategic and procedural fundamentals of innovation systems
Analysis of healthcare organizations and discussion of potentials for innovation
Formulation of concept, process development and implementation of innovation systems

Seminar;
Guided group work, possibly guest lecture and study trip

Will be determined together with the students in the course. There are the following options:
Doing a project and presenting it
Oral presentation
Final written exam
