Students know the basic concepts of linear algebra, basic concepts of the theory of ordinary differential equation und -systems and the basic concepts of the theory of values of several variables and of the vector analysis.
They can solve linear systems of equations, calculate determinants, inverse matrixes, intrinsic values and eigenvectors, fitting tasks by means of linear algebra.
They are able to find linear solutions to ordinary differential equations of 1st and 2nd order and to apply them to challenges of Electronics and Mechanics (RLC circuit, harmonic oscillator, Spring-Mass-Systems)
They are able to find a linear solution to ordinary differential equations of 1st and 2nd order and to apply them to challenges of Electronics and Mechanics (RLC circuit, harmonic oscillator, Spring-Mass-Systems) and calculate partial derivatives, directional derivatives and extreme value tasks, as well as to differentiate vector-valued functions.
