The students learn the basics of business intelligence projects and the “wording”. They also become confident using specifications and blueprints and their transition into a project and its phases. An ETL process and an architecture based on a BI system are also part of this course. Current topics as big data and map reduce are also covered as the setting up of OLAP structures and the reporting part which is complemented by the visualization concept of IBCS.
