The course will cover the following topics/content:
- Ethics in philosophy
- Categorical imperative
- Veil of ignorance
- Universal declaration of human rights.
- Efficiency theories (Pareto, Bentham, technical efficiency)
- Theories of distribution (Buchanan, Marx, Rawls, Nozick)
- Procedural fairness (Buchanan, Habermas)
