The students should have a good understanding of measuring techniques and handling RF measurement instruments such as Vector Network Analyzer, Impedance Analyzer and Spectrum Analyzer.

In this course measurements at various transmission line structures in frequency range up to 8 GHz will be carried out. The RGLC - Parameter as well as the characteristic impedance of a set of real PCBs should be exanimated using modern high tech measurement equipment such as a vector network analyzer and an impedance analyzer.
