Working in Austria

Under certain conditions you are allowed to work in Austria as a student. Possibilities for your employment depend on:

• your nationality
• kind of employent
• your titel.

In case that the curriculum of the degree program requires an internship (most likely in the last semester), students are allowed to work as intern and earn money for this period (f.ex. 6 months), earning money without a limitation, but their company has to inform the AMS (Public Employment Service Austria) at least 2 weeks before the start of the internship to obtain this right.
