Application

Applications for admission to the School of Social Work need to be submitted by the 18th of June for entry in September. Application forms can be downloaded or obtained from the school office. Dates of admission exams can be found under “Calendar and Events”.

As well as the application form, please submit a CV (which is comprehensive and detailed and qualifies any statements made), including a photograph, covering letter and a copy of your certificate of citizenship. In case of online or e-mail applications, please send the copy of the certificate of citizenship to the course administration office.

In addition, you will need to provide proof that you meet the entry requirements.

If you are not able to meet the main application deadline (18th June), the reports can still be handed in until 1st September, at the latest.

There are 25 university places available for the study of social work per academic year for each program (full-time and part-time). The program has its own specific admission process. The admission procedure consists of a written and an oral section; the school grades are considered and the application letter is reviewed. In these proceedings your resilience, organisational skills, intellectual ability and capacity for critical reflection are going to be checked and tested.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be admitted to the course.

 

Application

Thank you for your interest in our programs at CUAS.

At CUAS it is possible to apply for a study place at a maximum of three degree programs. Your application will be processed according to your first priority.

For the Online-Application please prepare the following documents either as PDF- or JPG- file. Certificates you cannot provide at the moment, can be sent later by e-mail or mail. It is in your interest to provide as many relevant documents as possible.

International applicants have to provide translated copies of their documents in German or English. The translation needs to be done by a sworn and officially accredited translator.

In addition applicants from non-EU Countries are required to submit their translated documents legalized by the Austrian diplomatic representation.
