Project „ARTEMOS“ started at CUAS
„ISCD – Integrated Systems and Circuits Design“ within school of Systems Engineering joint the EC-project “ARTEMOS” focusing on highly integrated solutions for future mobile communication devices. 3 years project duration. 38 project partners. 40 M€ total costs. The project “ARTEMOS” (Agile RF-Transceivers and Front-Ends for Future Smart Multi-Standard Communication Applications) is co-funded by EC and national funding authorities and aims at developing important technologies and architectures for future radio communication products on European level. A large consortium of 38 partners, including the major players in in wireless communication with a perfect mix of large companies, SME’s, research institutes and Universities and a total budget of 40.934.495 € reflects the importance of this project.
CUAS with the school of Systems Engineering / Integrated Systems and Circuits Design (ISCD) is project partner and will contribute to the development of important building blocks for future radio frequency (RF) transceivers. New integrated circuit concepts for RF-frontend key-building blocks, like configurable low-noise amplifiers (LNA), mixers and RF-filters will be investigated and implemented in a modern CMOS technology. An important aspect will be the close cooperation with companies and research institutes.
