Geolauf 10k – the 9th edition of our running event “Geolauf” takes place on 1 April 2011
On Friday, 1 April, the Geolauf will take place again with professional runners, hobby-athletes, and students. Also this time we will have our attractive track spanning 10 kilometers for the single speed competition and additional categories for the junior competition.As every year, the start will be at the FH site at the Technologiepark Villach in St. Magdalen. If you have not registered before, you can do so on the day of the competition on location! The junior competition will begin at 3 pm. The youngest participants have to complete tracks between 700 m and 1600 m, or 3200 m. The award ceremony will take place right after the event.
The single speed event, which is the main event, will begin at 5 pm. The track for this event comprises exactly 10.250 m, and the team event will take place at the traditional Geo-track comprising 7.200 m. For the team event all participants of a team made up of 3 people must finish together.
After the award ceremony an After-Run-Pasta-Party with Live-Music will take place.
