European Commission grants Carinthia University of Applied Sciences Diploma Supplement Label
The European Union has again granted higher education institutions from all over Europe the Diploma Supplement and European Credit Transfer System Label. Carinthia University of Applied Sciences received Diploma Supplement Label along with two other institution from Austria: Universität Innsbruck and Fachhochschule Gesundheit Tirol.Diploma Supplement is a document issued to CUAS students in German and in English and is handed out to each student without request and free of charge together with the graduation certificate upon his or her graduation. It contains a standardized description of type, level, context and status of the successfully completed degree program.
DS follows the model developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO/CEPES and should provide sufficient independent data to improve the international ‘transparency’ and fair academic and professional recognition of qualifications.
