Energy and traffic are key issues in our society and have a vital influence on ecological developments. The growing need for energy as well as the ecological consequences as a result of the production, transport and consumption of energy require the most modern technologies in connection with telecommunications and automation technologies. Moreover in modern traffic systems, network engineering simply cannot be ignored.
