28 February 2012: Welcome Day
Also this year we are happy to host incoming students at Carinthia University of Applied Sciences during the spring semester 2012. On 28 February we invited all incomings to the traditional Welcome Day organized by the International Office.While having breakfast together we could get to know the group a bit better. This year we have a rather small group with students coming from the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Germany. After the welcome speech of Rector Brodel, the Incomings received useful information about studying at CUAS, an introduction to the library and the e-campus. Having served the brain it was time to also satisfy the belly. We went to the city center to have lunch together with the buddies at “Kramer”, where some of the incomings tried traditional Carinthian specialties.
In the afternoon we went bowling where we did not only have a barrel of laughs, but where we also created a sense of cohesiveness.
