The Diploma Supplement (DS)

• follows the model developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO/CEPES
• is being issued to CUAS students in  German and is handed out to each student without request and free of charge together with the graduation certificate upon his or her graduation
• contains a standardized description of type, level, context and status of the successfully completed degree program
• provides sufficient independent data to improve the international ‘transparency’ and fair academic and professional recognition of qualifications

In 2011 Carinthia University of Applied Sciences received the Diploma Supplement Label. This European quality label is granted by the European Commission to higher education institutions which show excellence in the Diploma Supplement.
