Sensor Systems

The rapid development and use of automated systems in e.g. industries, automotive or environment areas requires also the development of sensor systems, based on different physical, chemical and other principles. Microelectronics, micromechanics, integrated optics and other related high technologies enable the miniaturization of sensor elements, as well as the physical integration of various functions and signal-processing elements. Modern smart sensors systems are used in different networks, which are a major part of the future internet of things.
