Mechatronics combines the fields of mechanical engineering, electrotechnology/electronics and IT. Today it is no longer possible to separate these three interrelated fields.

The modern engineer must be able to understand and design complete technical systems and the individual components in these systems. Only then can the engineer effectively transform development potential into technological and economic progress.
