learning outcomes of the course unit:
In this lecture, the students become familiar with different aspects of distributed systems and how they work. They learn about which algorithms are used in distributed systems and how problems are solved. They are able to develop their own distributed systems with the help of Java RMI.

In this course, students will understand the most important concepts of operating systems, see examples of different types of operating systems including implementation details, comprehend the relationship between operating systems and networks, see and understand how distributed systems work and which distributed algorithms are used.
