Application
Thank you for your interest in our programs at CUAS.
At CUAS it is possible to apply for a study place at a maximum of three degree programs. Your application will be processed according to your first priority.
For the Online-Application please prepare the following documents either as PDF- or JPG- file. Certificates you cannot provide at the moment, can be sent later by e-mail or mail. It is in your interest to provide as many relevant documents as possible.
International applicants have to provide translated copies of their documents in German or English. The translation needs to be done by a sworn and officially accredited translator.
In addition applicants from non-EU Countries are required to submit their translated documents legalized by the Austrian diplomatic representation.

Application
Each year 80 students have the possibility to study Systems Engineering at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences in Villach. The general admission requirement for applicants to study on this degree program is the school leaving certificate, a University Entrance Certificate or a vocational matriculation examination. Specialist vocational training will be considered as a vocational qualification. In such cases additional examinations in German, English and Mathematics will be required. Applicants must submit an application before the end of August.
Admissions Procedures
Please include the following documents with your application: signed CV/Résumé with photo (if applicable, proof of additional qualifications), a copy of your school leaving certificate, University Entrance Certificate or vocational matriculation examination (this can be provided at later date), as well as a copy of your proof of citizenship. If you meet the conditions listed above, you will be invited to an interview. You will be informed of the outcome of your application within a few days.

In the interview we are most interested in hearing what your motivation is for choosing our degree program and how you plan to successfully complete this program.
Credits
If you have completed specialist vocational training at an appropriate school, you may be given credit for prior knowledge of certain subjects in the program. Credits may also be awarded for lectures or examinations successfully taken as part of another university course, at an academy or other educational institute, either in Austria or abroad.
Tuition fee: € 363.36 per semester
