Qualification Profile

The qualification profile of the graduates orients itself towards the goals and principles of an academic and practically oriented university education.

The qualification profile of the graduates of the master course of studies in "Architecture" as a second step of an academic education is to be represented only in connection with the qualifications acquired in the first step. The training concept more than lives up to the ever more complex requirements in the areas of architecture, project development, planning and realisation. This concept emphasizes the quality of an integrated view and organizes an appropriate practically-oriented  program.  The education breaks new ground in the following ways:

  • The conscious combination of engineering competence and architectural competence brings about special synergies in training for the later professional implementation.

  • Practical projects are realised through the engagement of the university teachers in connection with qualified lecturers from industry. In practical fields of activity solutions for complex tasks are worked out jointly with the students.

  • In accompanying building management subjects, the students are optimally prepared for the acquisition and realisation of complex planning and building processes.  In addition the students acquire foreign-language, social and communicative competences.
