Application
EXCHANGE STUDENTS
Students from partner institutions who wish to complete one or two semesters at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences are asked to fill in digitally:
and send them to the International Office per e-mail as well as per air mail together with
- Transcript of Records
- and a copy of the passport.
The international office helps the students to organize the accommodation. As long as the student rooms in the student dormitory in Villach or at Kolpingheim in Spittal are available they can be reserved for the students. In other cases the students will get a list of contact data of the landlords where they can book a room or the whole apartment
The application deadlines are as follows:
• 31 May for the fall semester or for the whole academic year
• 30 November for the spring semester.
BACHELOR STUDENTS
If you want to study as a bachelor student, please send the application documents to the administration of the relevant school.
If you have met all the formal requirements, you will be asked to complete a written ranking test to ascertain your aptitude, talents and motivation. Multiple Choice Tests and Interviews are held once a month from January till September. You will then be invited to an interview with the Admissions Committee. Next your results will be analyzed and then you will be notified about our decision.
MASTER STUDENTS
Students who are interested in studying for the whole master degree program are asked to read the Infosheet and follow the steps from this Checklist.
The application deadline for the selection is for non EU citizens - 15 April 2012, for EU citizens - 15 June 2012.
Till then all the documents should be sent to the administration office of the relevant school. An intervew with the applicants is planned and the results of the interview will be sent back to the applicant within a few days after the interview took place. If you have any other question about the concrete Master Degree Program please contact the International Coordinators at the appropriate school. Tuition fee: € 363.36 per semester
Legalization of documents
International applicants have to provide translated copies of their documents in German or English. The translation needs to be done by a sworn and officially accredited translator.
In addition applicants from Non-EU Countries are required to submit their translated documents legalized by the Austrian diplomatic representation.
