University Management

Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) was established in 1995 in the legal form of a society as the organisational body for university studies in Carinthia. The registered office of the society was in Spittal an der Drau. Since the beginning of 2002, Carinthia University of Applied Sciences gemeinnuetzige Privatstiftung (non-profit private foundation) has been the organisational and funding body for Carinthian university degree programs.
    
The financing of the non-profit private foundation takes place by means of contributions from the federal government, the province of Carinthia and the local municipalities. Also, the membership fees of the society, which has become one of the 15 founders, as well as donations and proceeds from events contribute to financing the operation of the organisation.
