IDESA-Course „Advanced Analog Design Flow“

From February 13th to 17th the Fachhochschule Kärnten will be hosting the IDESA course "Advanced Analog Design Flow".

IDESA is a EC Framework 7 project, that has been identified as a support action to help universities to follow the fast pace of evolution of the IC design and implementation flows for deep submicron technologies.

The 5-day course will start with a short overview of the 90nm IC process flow, it will cover modeling issues, hand calculation versus simulation accuracy, transistor level and behavioral level design, analog cell trimming using digital functions, mixed mode simulation, mismatch and yield modeling and analysis, and analog modeling and circuit optimization.

The reorganization of the ISCD-lab from Sun-terminal to Linux-PCs, providing the students of the ISCD master course ( 17 powerful workplace for the exercises, now also made it possible to host this course.
